September 06 16.39 After 16.39 miles running, my feet started to feel painful. But the real pain came when I had to take a cold shower. My heart started running faster, much faster. Following all the tortures, I kept my feet in ice water for another 20 minutes. Amazingly, I did not feel as painful as before. My legs and feet were not sore anymore. Thank god... Nice, this means I can start another round of running next week - without too much pain. I have to thank my friend for this great idea of cold shower and ice water treatment. It did work. By the way, 16.39 miles per day is my new personal record for running. I spent quite a bit time on that too, nearly 3 hours - 2:52:24 to be exact. Not a great speed for me. This means I need to keep working on my tempo run for next week. What a pain! I used to think running is a lonely game. But it seems to be a great lonely game that many people enjoy. Hope everyone finds the way to enjoy himself/herself. Comments (3)
